The action is packed into another exciting series of adventures with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus. Run with the Turtle dudes as they show off their new Ninja abilities against all new opponents. Only the best can turn chaos into control with simultaneous play for up to four players in both cooperative and head-to-head modes. The Turtles return has come at an unexpected time. They now find themselves forcced into exile on a strange, alien planet - the result of a new time and space warping technology that has fallen into the wrong hands. But hop glimmers as they soon discover a hostage, a robot named Fugitoid, whom they rescue and convert to a valuable ally. Together they must defeat the bizarre enemy infestations on the planet and get back home to Earth.

Wolverine, Storm, and company are back for more action in this second installment of heralded X-MEN series. This time out, you can play as more characters such as Rogue, Havoc, and Nightcrawler in addition to the regular mutants. There are plenty of new arenas to do your fighting in, and tons of new combos and unique power attacks for each character. If you re looking for a quick-fix, arena-style fighting experience, you might want to try Arcade mode. Gamers with a little more time on their hands will enjoy the more comprehensive modes, like Survival and Academy Training, while those with a competitive edge will get plenty of miles out of the awesome Versus mode. Though there s a wealth of material for fans of the comic book series to latch onto, the gameplay allows you to hop right into the action with little or no knowledge of the ongoing storyline. You ll never quite get enough of this one game.

Four mutant turtles Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello under the guidance of their teachers combat rat Splinter become adepts of the ancient art of Ninjutsu and went on the warpath against crime, providing native New York peace and quiet.

Through contact with a mysterious substance, called Ooze, 4 little turtles in the canalization of New York mutate to giant turtles. They can speak, walk upright and love pizza. The wise rat Splinter becomes their mentor and educates them to Ninja fighters. Their arch-enemy is the bad, bad guy Shredder, who struggles to gain power over the world. Of course the ninja turtles will do everything to stop him.

The turtles find out where the Ooze, the substance which made them mutate, came from. Unfortunately Shredder learns about it too, and uses it to enhance himself. So the turtles have to prove again who s the better ninja fighter.

The four turtles travel back in time to the days of the legendary and deadly samurai in ancient Japan, where they train to perfect the art of becoming one. The turtles also assist a small village in an uprising.

At the end of the Ice Age, The Machine came from outer space with the purpose to change men into mutants. However, a hero defeated the device and a great seal was laid over The Machine. In 2707, the depleted world is ruled by four Corporations: Mishima, Bauhaus, Capitol and Imperial that are in a constant state of war. During a battle between Capitol and Bauhaus, the great seal is broken and The Machine works again transforming soldiers and civilians into hordes of mutants. A small part of the population escapes to Mars, leaving millions of people behind.
